What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a form of instant messenger that informs you when new content has been added to your favourite web site(s).How do I use RSS?
The first step to subscribing to an RSS feed is to download a 'reader.' This is a simple, easy-to-use piece of software that automatically checks RSS feeds for new web site content.
Readers come in two forms: Web-based or as a downloadable application that lets you store the reader on your computer. Once you have selected your reader, you can subscribe to the news you wish to receive updates about.
Where can I get a 'reader'?
There are many different readers available to you but its worth noting that different readers work on different operating systems. Here are few popular readers you may wish to use:
Windows:
- • NewzCrawler
- • FreeDemon
- • Awasu
- • FreeDemon
